2 weeks to go 📆

Hey everyone, a quick update with only 2 weeks to go until I join CTC. The past few weeks I've been finalising the admin side of things, by applying for a Basic Disclosure and sorting out Insurances for my training. I also

managed to purchase an iPad a few weeks back and this meant that I could start pre-reading through the 17 ATPL iBooks before I start lessons. My initial reaction whilst reading through the iBooks was that there is just so much content to each subject. For example the Principles of Flight iBook which will be one of my first exams in Mod 1 is at least 800 pages long!

Before I was able to download the books I had to read through an introductory maths and physics iBook and then pass an online test. I managed to pass first time and then began to download my ATPL training manuals shorlty after.

Apart from that I've been working here and there to keep me busy while enjoying the odd day to relax and do not much before I start what is going to be a very intense 18 month pilot training course!

Yesterday I received an email from CTC detailing the information for my 'First Flight Day'... Basically the introductory day where I'll meet all my fellow course mates and move into the accommodation. I also found out that the date has been brought forward a couple of days, so instead of starting lessons on the 24th, I'm now starting on the 20th.
