ABOUT ME
I've always been fascinated about flying, being above the clouds and looking down at the ground from above and ever since the first time I flew a plane back in the summer of 2009, I knew I wanted to be a pilot. I was lucky enough to go on a number of holidays as a child and one of my favourite parts of these holiday was the plane journey itself!
I started my own private flight training in the summer of 2014, aged 16. I had previously flown light aircraft as a member of both the Scouts and Air Cadets. After completing my Air Law exam, I flew solo for the first time on the 28th August 2014, 5 days before my 17th birthday. I then went on to pass my PPL Skills Test on the 25th September 2015, aged 18, making me one of the youngest qualified pilots in the UK.
In June 2015, I was also lucky enough to become a flight simulator experience instructor representing Emirates at the Emirates Aviation Experience in London. As an instructor I guide members of the general public through the primary flight controls of either an Airbus A380 or Boeing 777.
Towards the end of 2015 I applied and was invited down to Southampton to sit selection for the Virgin Atlantic MPL in partnership with CTC Aviation. Unfortunately I was not successful, however was over the moon to at least make it to the last 400 out of 8000 applicants.
Having completed my A levels in the Summer of 2016, I decided to apply to the Generation easyJet Pilot Training Programme. I successfully completed selection in February 2017 and later enrolled on CP164/EZMP20 with CTC Aviation, now known as L3 Airline Academy.
