Little bit of a spoiler alert here but what I didn't tell you was that on my day 2 selection, ITN were conducting filming throughout the interviews. Now before you ask I opted out of this as I did not really fancy seeing myself on TV.
So, ITN are producing a three part documentary for ITV set to air sometime in the summer/autumn this year. The documentary has been made to show what it takes to become an airline pilot for easyJet, the process to the flight deck and then the life inside the easyJet Cockpit. Hence the provisional programme name of "easyJet: Inside the cockpit". ITN have already conducted filming out in New Zealand with current CTC cadets completing their flight training and they have also completed filiming inside the easyJet Cockpit, to which they will be using fixed-rig actions camera's that will not disrupt the pilots duties or cause danger to the flight.
There we have it. Some exciting news for the end of the year for those aviation enthusiasts out there... I certainly cannot wait to see the programme!
